What You'll Do:
- Conduct In-Depth Assessments:
- Evaluate pain conditions through patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic test reviews.
- Identify the root causes of pain and determine appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate for Impact:
- Work closely with our Pain Management Physicians to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Integrate both pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches for comprehensive care.
- Perform Procedures with Precision:
- Administer joint injections, nerve blocks, and other specialized pain management techniques.
- Work under physician guidance to ensure patient safety and effective treatment.
- Educate for Long-Term Success:
- Provide clear explanations on pain management strategies.
- Offer advice on lifestyle changes, exercise, and nutrition to improve overall health.
- Monitor & Adjust Care Plans:
- Track patient responses to treatments.
- Adjust care plans to achieve optimal pain relief and functional improvement.
- Collaborate in Multidisciplinary Meetings:
- Discuss complex cases with other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to improving pain management practices and outcomes.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve:
- Keep up to date with the latest research and techniques in pain management.
- Participate in continuing education to enhance clinical skills.
What We're Looking For:
- A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
- Certification or significant experience in Pain Management is a strong plus.
- Clinical skills that allow you to perform advanced pain management procedures.
- Compassionate communication and interpersonal skills-you connect with patients on a human level and care about their well-being.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
