About the Role:
Join our team as a United Community Private Wealth (UCPW) Banking Advisor and support high-net-worth clients with expert financial advice on banking and credit solutions tailored to their complex needs. You'll act as the vital link between Private Bankers and the bank's credit and banking departments, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining strong client relationships. This role is essential in supporting the development, underwriting, and monitoring of Private Banking products and services, contributing to the client's broader wealth management strategy.

What You'll Do:
  • Client Assessment: Evaluate client financial profiles to recommend suitable lending products, such as mortgages, credit lines, or tailored credit solutions.
  • Credit Presentation: Clearly present complex credit structures, focusing on risk management and client objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Private Bankers, Wealth Strategists, Trust Officers, and Portfolio Managers to align banking and credit strategies with clients' financial goals.
  • Lending Strategies: Develop innovative and customized lending strategies, including securities-based lines of credit and other consumer financing.
  • Credit Proposals: Structure credit proposals that optimize both the bank's risk exposure and the client's financial needs.
  • Risk Evaluation: Conduct in-depth risk evaluations of credit requests, including client creditworthiness, collateral valuation, and market conditions.
  • Point of Contact: Serve as the main contact between Private Bankers and the credit division, ensuring timely and accurate execution of credit solutions.
  • Credit Approvals: Collaborate with credit underwriters, loan officers, and risk management teams to facilitate credit approvals.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about market trends, interest rates, and economic conditions that may impact credit offerings.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and the bank's internal credit policies.
  • Training: Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in private banking, wealth management, credit, or commercial banking.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Required Skills:
    • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for clients.
    • Deep understanding of financial markets, lending products, and regulatory frameworks.
    • Strong interpersonal skills for building client trust and fostering teamwork within the organization.
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Proven expertise in credit structuring, underwriting, and risk analysis for high-net-worth clients or business owners.

Working Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Up to 10% travel required.
