Job Description:
The HR Manager - Compensation and Benefits will have direct responsibility for leading daily activities and programs that directly impact Tennessee Oncology's success by supporting its values and human resources strategy, through effective compensation & benefits programs.
To be successful in this role, you will help the HR and Operational leadership team to look around corners with data-driven recommendations for innovative programs as well as iterate on current programs to improve performance, retention, and the overall team member experience. You must have the ability to see patterns, diagnose issues, and recommend and develop both immediate and long-term solutions and mechanisms. High business acumen, proven leadership skills, and excellent written and verbal communication are essential. You must be comfortable working in a purpose-driven, collaborative culture at both the strategic and tactical levels, thinking longer-term while rolling up your sleeves to execute the details.
As the HR Manager, you will ensure that compensation and benefits programs are forward-thinking and competitive, support the delivery of our desired experience, and align with Tennessee Oncology's culture, values, and business strategy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Possess strategic capabilities with a "roll up your sleeves approach." This is a leadership position in high-growth company requiring hands-on execution.
Strong project management and prioritization skills to effectively manage and drive multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Strong technical proficiency with HR systems (Workday preferred) and MS Office tools, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
Direct experience with the design, implementation and administration of compensation programs and structure
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insight and influence decisions
Passion for the challenge of delivering quick value while laying the groundwork for long-term solutions at scale; ability to identify areas of improvement and drive change
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS Degree in Human Resources, Business, or other relevant area is required.
A minimum of 5 years of diverse experience and progressive responsibility in compensation, benefits, and HR systems and applications, with at least five years in a management role.
Demonstrated ability to successfully execute in a high-growth environment with limited infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Own and manage compensation and benefit workflows in Workday (HCMS) for Tennessee Oncology with our OneOncology partners, ensuring data quality and compliance are to standard, as well as building processes, procedures, and reporting in the system.
- Oversee Tennessee Oncology's portion of payroll operations in partnership with the managed payroll ensuring accurate and efficient delivery bi-weekly.
- In partnership with the Chief Human Resources Officers, assess, develop, and implement a competitive compensation program that supports the organization's ability to attract and retain top talent.
- Be the subject matter expert for health benefits and 401k plan, including all Tennessee Oncology compliance-related activities.
- Review and maintain compensation structures including our salary grading system that leverages career framework principles and aligns with our culture and values. Conduct market pay assessments using available competitive market data resources, internal equity comparisons, and professional knowledge/experience.
- Develop communications that help our team members appreciate and value their total compensation package (benefits, base, bonus, profit sharing, time off, etc.); create total rewards statements and materials.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Prepare and/or review the appropriate documents to meet regulatory standards.
- Identify and propose modifications and enhancements to our programs to address team member needs and the competitive environment for talent in our industry.
- Partner with HR leaders to build meaningful insights into our people data through reports on key metrics/analytics.
- Involved in developing and executing company policies that affect human resources operations, and team member engagement and have company-wide effects.
