The workforce consists of 690 full-time employees and approximately 500 part-time employees and operates on a combined funds budget of over $149 million for FY 25. Typical Qualifications

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator and a collaborative problem solver that builds and maintains positive relationships. The candidate will also need to embrace challenges and be solution-driven with the ability to navigate difficult situations and circumstances and maintain positive relationships. While this position will not initially have any direct reports, this position will require regular supervision over both in-house employees as well as consultants and vendors engaged in various designs, construction, inspection, maintenance, or clerical operations related to projects in their portfolio. A key function of this position is to always represent the County's interest during the planning and construction phase of any project and to ensure the construction timelines and budgets are met. Knowing or learning general building codes and understanding the development appeal process will be critical to this position.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of professional project management experience in construction, engineering, or building field or any equivalent combination of experience or training, including facilities management, which provides the required knowledge and skillset. The hiring range is $75,000 to $88,000 and will be based on qualifications and experience.
