Position Overview

The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic content initiatives that drive engagement, nurture leads, and position SIMCO as a thought leader in our industry. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Programs, you will create high-impact content that aligns with our business goals and resonates with our regulated industry audiences.

This role requires 5-7 years of experience in content marketing, ideally within B2B, SaaS, or technical industries. The ideal candidate will combine strong storytelling skills with a data-driven approach to content creation and performance optimization.

*This position is remote or Hybrid (if in the Bay Area).

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Strategy & Execution:
    • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive content marketing strategy that supports lead generation, customer engagement, and brand awareness.
    • Own the content calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns, product launches, and industry trends.
  • Content Development & Leadership:
    • Create and oversee the production of diverse content assets, including whitepapers, blog posts, case studies, videos, webinars, and more.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop technical, customer-centric content that highlights SIMCO's expertise and value proposition.
    • Ensure all content reflects SIMCO's voice, tone, and brand standards.
  • SEO & Performance Optimization:
    • Develop and implement SEO strategies to maximize the visibility and performance of content.
    • Use analytics tools to measure content effectiveness and optimize future efforts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with demand generation, product marketing, and digital marketing teams to ensure content aligns with overall marketing goals.
    • Partner with design and multimedia teams to produce high-quality visuals and interactive content.
  • Thought Leadership & Industry Impact:
    • Drive thought leadership by identifying industry trends and creating content that addresses the needs and challenges of our target audiences.
    • Leverage customer success stories to showcase the impact of SIMCO's solutions in regulated industries.


Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in content marketing, with a strong preference for B2B, SaaS, or technical industries.
  • Proven ability to create and manage content strategies that generate leads and drive engagement.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for a broad audience.
  • Deep understanding of SEO, content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and performance analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Familiarity with regulated industries or technical markets (e.g., aerospace, biomedical devices) is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
