We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as a Systems Administrator working Hybrid (1-2 days a week) in our Logan, UT office.

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator with extensive experience in Linux environments and hybrid cloud solutions, including AWS, Azure, Alicloud, and on-premises infrastructure. This role is essential for designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure, scalable, and high-performance hybrid infrastructure that supports our global operations.

ROLE COMMITMENTS

• Support hybrid cloud solutions that seamlessly integrate on-premises and cloud environments to support business growth and agility.
• Manage and optimize Windows and Linux servers across both on-premises and multi-cloud environments, ensuring their stability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement hybrid cloud strategies that leverage the best features of on-prem, AWS, Azure, and Alicloud.
• Support the migration and integration of on-premises applications and workloads to hybrid cloud environments.
• Automate system administration tasks and infrastructure management using tools like Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, and VMware.
• Implement security best practices across all Linux, Windows, cloud, and on-prem systems, including identity management, network security, and data encryption.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Cloud & On-Premises Architecture & Infrastructure Management:

• Manage a secure, scalable, and reliable hybrid infrastructure using services such as AWS EC2, Azure Virtual Machines, Alicloud ECS, and on-premises virtualization technologies like VMware.
• Support on-premises server and storage infrastructure, including data centers and SAN/NAS environments, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Help to optimize resource utilization and costs across cloud and on-prem environments by implementing effective monitoring and automation strategies.

Linux System Administration:

• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers in both cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues related to hardware, software, and network components.
• Maintain robust backup and disaster recovery solutions for critical systems across cloud and on-premises.

Automation & Scripting:

• Develop Ansible runbooks and other automation methods to streamline system administration and infrastructure management tasks across multi-cloud and on-prem environments.

Security & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with relevant iFit standards and best practices across all environments.
• Work with the security team for regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential risks in both on-prem and cloud environments.

• Education and Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in system administration
• 3+ years of experience in hybrid cloud architecture and administration across multiple cloud platforms and on-premises environments.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS EC2, Azure Virtual Machines, Alicloud ECS) and on-premises virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Open to 10% travel as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship.

• Preferred Qualifications
• Multi-cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Alicloud Professional).
• Network troubleshooting experience

• Advanced Linux certifications (e.g., RHCE, LPIC).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
