Reporting directly to the Sr. VP, Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible to assist in leading the Facility Operations Division.

Reporting directly to the Sr. VP, Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible to assist in leading the Facility Operations Division.
The principal activities include the following, but not limited to:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day business of the company, maximizing company profitability, continuously grow the company business, increase the efficiency of the day to day operational and administrative process, capitalize and take advantage of existing and new market opportunities.
- Ensure proper measures and procedures are in place for a safe workplace for all employees
- Understand the processes of the operations to propose and implement reporting tools and procedures to add value and increase the efficiency and profitability of the operations, including identifying inefficiencies in processes within each operation and propose and implement solutions to maximize efficiency and profitability, and to enhance and implement procedures to encourage and increase communication amongst each operation to increase efficiency and profitability
- Work with logistics, grain trading, administration, and other key groups within the organization to maintain and continually improve procedures ensuring quality, accuracy, profitability, growth and customer satisfaction
- Provide senior management with reports
- Help to develop short and long-range plans for the Operations
- Provides expertise to improve operational performance and profitability of the operations, and sets expectations or goals regarding budgets, revenue growth, gross margins, marketing strategies and all aspects of operations
- Manages each division's P&Ls and reports on fiscal matters and implements effective budgeting
- Complete analysis of financial results within the Operations and developing recommendations (strategic and tactical) for further growth and improvement
- Work closely with senior management to achieve effective management, well planned programs, staffing, and program/training and development
- Setting the strategic direction, shaping the future, executing on yearly actions that align with the future state of the business, ensuring the Operations has the right talent to achieve the strategic actions, and builds the next generation of talent
- New project analysis - identify required equipment, footprint and requirements. Communicate with equipment supply and construction services and provide project cost options.
- Other ad hoc responsibilities or projects may be assigned
Key qualifications would include:
- a minimum of 10 plus years in progressive roles including management within sales and operations functions with agribusiness
- a successful track record of building businesses in highly entrepreneurial environments, developing plans and executing to gain results
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; preferably in business Administration
- Good internal controls and risk management background and operational expertise
- Strong analytical skills with ability to grasp complex business concepts
