POSITION SUMMARY
Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will report to the CFO and will serve as a key leader within the corporate and field finance team. As an integral member of the Finance team, the FP&A Manager will have a high-level of exposure to senior executives and interact frequently with operational leaders in the field. To be successful in the role, you must be highly motivated, pro-active with a bias towards action, able to make sound decisions, flexible, have a desire to make an impact, able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and be a positive contributor within the team.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive and maintain the budgeting and forecasting process and provide support for the multi-year company-wide planning process
Assist with monthly financial review and analysis of operating results vs. forecast and plan, produce management reporting package including P&L, Balance Sheet and Free Cash Flow forecasts, operating metrics and commentary
Prepare and distribute ongoing reports to assist with CFO presentations, including executive, and board/owner level presentations
Lead the development of tools and processes to continually improve the analytical capabilities and measurement processes across the Company with the goal of creating an environment where more time is spent in analysis/driving insights as opposed to data gathering
Enhance company's analytical capabilities, provide insights to leadership team and operational business partners to drive improvement in the business performance
Partner with functional owners to optimize operational performance and deliver on short and long-term financial objectives
Compare company financial performance vs. competitor and industry trends
Seek out, implement and/or improve internal or external best practices within FP&A and become recognized as a subject matter expert who can be relied upon to provide valuable insight and recommendations
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Four year degree in business or other quantitative related field; Consumer Goods experience or CPA is a plus
Strong FP&A analytic skills; able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers
Advanced financial modeling skills with exposure to best-in-class practices
Ability to switch gears quickly and work cross-functionally and collaboratively with all parts of the organization
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships across the organization, influence others and present in small and large group settings
Ability to complete duties with limited direct supervision and meet deadlines in fast-paced and changing environment
Leadership skills, along with ability to be both a player and a coach
Intellectually curious and desire to learn, think independently and take action
Willingness to roll-up your sleeves, dive into the details and go the extra mile to get the job done

SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel (expert with pivot tables and advanced formulas is required; macros and more is a plus) and Powerpoint capabilities
- Ability to manipulate and analyze very large data sets and present findings in logical manner
- Experience with advanced data analytics/visualization tools a definite plus (Tableau, Alteryx, etc)
- High level of technical skills; comfortable learning new systems and reporting/BI tools; Exposure to SAP / BPC / BOBJ is a plus
