We are currently seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Manufacturing Test System Engineer who is ready to take ownership of our electrical testing systems and drive impactful improvements across the organization. In this role, you will develop innovative tests for new product introductions and support the manufacturing of high-complexity medical devices in a low-volume, FDA-regulated environment. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams, including Production, R&D, Service, Quality, Purchasing, Planning and IT providing critical technical and process support to enhance our operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Design, develop and support test systems for use in product manufacturing including test boxes, measurement fixtures, and automated testing equipment. Ensure test systems meet product design specification.
- Provide on-going support of test systems by developing verification, validation, and periodic maintenance protocols and reports. Provide troubleshooting support.
- Use provided Software to design and revise PCBs to support manufacturing test systems and products.
- Work directly with technical support and contractors supporting automated test system design and implementation.
- Initiate and manage continuing engineering, cost reduction and process improvement projects.
- Provide expertise in areas of specialization, including manufacturing testing systems and automated test equipment, acting as go-to person for the topic.
- Other activities as assigned by your manager.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, preferably Electrical Engineering
OR
- Associates degree in technical discipline, with minimum of 10 years engineering experience
Experience
Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience designing and deploying production electronic test systems
- Experience with Advanced Manufacturing Testing Systems, power supplies, Digital Multi-Meters, Network Analyzers
- PCB and schematic design experience in any modern design suite (Easy-PC, Altium, etc.)
- RF and digital circuit design
- Engineering (AME), OR New Product Introduction (NPI) required
Preferred
- 5+ Years experience designing and deploying electronic production test systems
- Experience in PCB design software (Easy-PC, Altium)
- LabVIEW, production automated data collection and reporting
- Experience using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S and/or other related principles

- Proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficiency in writing technical documents and production instructions

- Proficiency with design and process documentation concepts as well as standard revision rules
- Familiarity with documentation control in an ISO 9000 or ISO 13485 environment
