Anticipated 25-26 school year
Full Time: 3 Day a week in Columbia, CT & 2 Days a week in Canterbury, CT
Annual Rate of pay 85,000-90,000 - Depending on experience
Reports to: Director of Student Services and/or Supervisor of Special Education.
Responsibilities:
Seeking a full-time, school-based Occupational Therapist to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. This position serves students from preschool through 8th grade who exhibit a range of cognitive, physical, behavioral, language and/or medical challenges in public schools. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapy sessions, collaborating with teachers and families, and presenting at PPT/504 meetings.

Qualifications:
- State licensure or the ability to be licensed in CT
- Minimum 3 + years of occupational therapy experience
- Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles and practices
- Experience and knowledge of a wide range of fine motor and sensory assessments is preferred
- Experience in a school setting is preferred
- Ability to lift, physically assist, and position children
- Flexibility and a high level of organizational skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy interventions to meet the diverse needs of students
- Excellent collaboration and consultation skills
