Cedar Hill will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC, in over 20 years. Located in Southeast DC, Cedar Hill is designed to serve the community of Wards 7 and 8, providing accessible, high-quality healthcare close to home. This state-of-the-art teaching hospital will offer 136 beds (expandable to 184), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health services, an ambulatory pavilion, a 500-car garage, and a helipad for emergency transports.

Position Overview

The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent, non-profit academic clinical practice group is seeking a full-time Pulmonologist to join the hospital service team at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center.

This non-tenure track appointment will be made at a rank (Clinical Instructor/Clinical Assistant/Clinical Associate/Clinical Professor) commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include providing excellent patient care to hospitalized patients and consultations for outpatients; teaching residents and medical students; and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Basic Qualifications

Applicants must be board-certified in Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine.

Valid medical license in the District of Columbia by the time of appointment.
