We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator with a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification who holds an active Department of Defense (DOD) Top Secret (TS) security clearance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and securing our organization's IT systems to ensure smooth operations.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification.
- Active Department of Defense (DOD) Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with networking, security, and backup systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
**Responsibilities:**
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and virtualization technologies.
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability.
- Implement security measures to protect the system from cyber attacks.
- Troubleshoot system issues and outages in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure smooth system integration.
- Maintain documentation and provide training to end users as needed.
