Job Summary
This position is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and management of day-to-day operations at The Lincoln Center & Carnegie Center for Creativity; including the booking of public, private, and non-Lincoln Center programming or events; assists in the administration of the budget and personnel required to execute those events and manage the venue operations successfully.
This position operates, maintains and safeguards the assets of the venue's rental and public spaces, including development of policies and procedures, supervision and support of personnel, and the use and maintenance of event/performance spaces, infrastructure, and equipment. In addition, this position is responsible for assuring that all work is carried out to the highest safety standards with a focus on sound sustainability practices.

- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Lincoln Center to ensure high-quality customer service for the theater-going public and the various user groups rent-ing conference rooms and theater spaces.
- Supervises the core facility departments and staff of the Lincoln Center, including technical services, ticketing and front-of-house services, conference services, and theater rentals.
- Builds, oversees and maintains positive relationships with local arts organizations, local and touring producers, outside promoters, co-promoters, and core rental clients.
- Develops and oversees the budget for the Lincoln Center, including revenue estimation and expense budgeting and monitoring. Responsible for meeting revenue projections and controlling expenses.
- Benchmarks best practices and seeks innovation and efficiencies in customer service, building operations, and all areas of venue management.
- Leads team in booking artistic performances present-ed by the Lincoln Center.
- Provides support and oversees core staff in presenting Lincoln Center produced performances.
- Analyzes, appraises, and administers contracts relating to rental and presenting activities of the Lincoln Center. Reviews and provides input and cost estimating for performing arts contracts including items related to technical, ticketing, hospitality, and front of house services.
- Administers contracts with subcontractors including bar concessionaire and ticketing provider.
- Oversees marketing staff in the promotion of Lincoln Center shows, rental availability, and services of the facility.
- Produces and analyzes reports on rentals, shows, ticket sales, etc. and provides regular updates to Cultural Services Director.
- Researches and evaluates data on rates and fees
- compared to the market and provides recommendations on policy and fee changes to Cultural Services Director.
- Assures high-quality customer service by evaluating the results of overall operations and service levels and provides reports to the Service Unit Director and Di-rector of Cultural Services as needed.
- Reviews and analyzes programs, operations and associated costs, forecasting departmental progress with regard to stated objectives and future needs.
- Coordinates work activities with other City departments or divisions, including Operation Services for maintenance, custodial, and special projects; IT staff for technology needs; Parks for grounds maintenance; etc.
- Assists the Cultural Services director in formulating and administering City and service unit policies and developing long range goals and objectives for Lincoln Center and Cultural Services.
- Serves as liaison to the Lincoln Center Support League, a non-profit fundraising and support group.
- Works a flexible schedule that may include weekends and evenings as needed.
- Acts as Cultural Services Director in director's absence.
