As our Application Engineer based in the Ottawa area, you will be supporting the sales and marketing channel, demonstrating products, providing training and application support to our wide-ranging customer base in Canada.

Your tasks
- Technical support for RF and microwave Test and Measurement instruments. Develop and present local seminars and customer training sessions Provide technical feedback to product line Pre/Post-sales support, including customer demonstrations

Your qualifications
- BSEE (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of working in a customer facing role as an application engineer.
- Detailed knowledge of communication protocols such as 5GNR, LTE, IEEE 802.11 and IEEE 802.15.4.
- Experience working with test equipment including spectrum/signal analyzers, signal generators, radio communication testers and vector network analyzers.
- Strong understanding of RF/uW vector measurement applications.
- Programming experience with instrument automation (Python, Matlab C/C++, Labview).
- Experience supporting customers with a solid understanding of current electronic industry.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the region and occasional international travel.
- Professional working proficiency in French a plus.
- Position will be based in Ottawa, Ontario.
