Responsibilities:
- Play the role of the customer receiving a Base power battery product for the first time, and find all the issues so our customers don't have to. Customer in this case = installer & homeowner
- Work with the design teams to triage, root cause, and implement fixes for those problems
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- NPI = New Production Introduction
- Experience bringing new productions from pilot phase to full production
- Strong mix of electrical hardware / software / mechanical skills
- Comfortable flashing firmware, running tests with datalogging, and diagnosing electromechanical issues with various types of electrical hardware
- Strong working knowledge of batteries, solar panels, inverters, and the residential electricity grid
- Four year college degree in Engineering, math, science, physics, or similar
