Senior AWS Cloud Solutions Architect - San Antonio, TX

Full Visibility is seeking a Senior Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Solutions Architect to work in San Antonio, TX. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

The Senior AWS Cloud Solutions Architect will perform duties within the field of cloud technologies, focused on designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions for applications that align with technical and business requirements. The candidate will be responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties. This includes ensuring cloud infrastructures are efficiently designed and maintained for an array of software applications on unclassified and classified systems. The Senior AWS Cloud Solutions Architect will be capable of growing and adapting to increased demand without compromising performance and capable of protecting against threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring data integrity and compliance with security standards. The successful candidate will optimize performance and cost-effectiveness, ensuring that resources are used efficiently, and expenses are minimized. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in AWS tools such as Kubernetes, EKS, Diode, and Lambda etc. (not all inclusive) orchestrated/deployed in a cloud environment.

The Senior AWS Cloud Solutions Architect will possess expertise in a specialty area and provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task.

Requirements
Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
At least ten (10+) years of overall experience in the functional area to include web applications systems integrations
Three (3) years of recent and relevant experience with DoD AWS Unclassified, Secret and Top-Secret cloud integrations, microservices and container platforms (such as, but not limited to, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, AWS EKS), etc.). In addition, experience in hybrid monolithic deployments using VMs, OVAs, EC2s and using Kubernetes to manage container deployments.
Bachelor's degree in related field. A Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
IAT level II certification
At least two (2) trainings or certifications in AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS SysOps Administrator Associate, or AWS Advanced Networking Specialty. Four (4) years proven relevant experience may be substituted as applicable to each certification.
