Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Azure Repos, and other Azure DevOps features
- Experience with programming languages like C#, .NET, PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript, Python, depending on the project requirements
- Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Thorough knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery principles
- Understanding of Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and security
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using Azure Pipelines, including defining stages, tasks, and dependencies for smooth software releases.
- Integrate code quality checks and static analysis tools into pipelines to ensure code quality standards are met.
- Manage release strategies, including staging environments, feature flags, and rollback mechanisms for controlled deployments.
- Monitor pipeline execution, identify issues, and troubleshoot failures to maintain system stability.
- Implement security best practices within pipelines, including access controls and vulnerability scanning.
- Work closely with developers to understand their needs, integrate code changes into pipelines, and address deployment concerns.
