The Cybersecurity Manager will be responsible to provides oversight for all aspects of system security and program protection planning for systems. Serves as the Program Senior Manager and Technical advocate for all matters relating to planning, organizing, and implementation of cybersecurity requirements.
Supports customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies. Applies know-how to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures. Coordinates analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures. Assists with designs, development, engineering, and implementation of solutions that meet Agency Cybersecurity requirements. Responsible for vulnerability/risk analyses and recommendations of program systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle. Mentor organization and teams in the development and execution of all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems data assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent compromise. Must be able to weigh business needs against security risks and articulate courses of action to management.
Assist the Program Manager in working with the Government CO and COR, Government management personnel, and customer agency representatives. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, the manager is responsible for overall supervision and functional management of personnel assigned to the Cybersecurity Service area. The Manager is also responsible for the financial performance and growth of the Cybersecurity portfolio of work packages.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Management of Information Technology, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in information security or related roles.
Demonstrated ability to provide senior leadership to a team of Cybersecurity Professionals.
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders outside of home organization by evangelizing Cybersecurity Services across a distributed Enterprise Organization.
Experience with networking ports and protocols, architecture of networked and standalone systems, functionality of various operating systems, cloud computing environments and common security tools.
Expert knowledge and experience with vulnerability management. Able to lead analyses of data to develop metrics that inform risk and drive process improvement.
Expert knowledge and experience with federal standards such as NIST, FISMA and FIPS.
Expert knowledge and experience with Security Control Audits
Active Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Top Secret Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
Prior experience with NASA customer strongly preferred.
