The position is a direct report to a Human Resources Manager. The position requires some travel to customer and company sites. Our ideal candidate will be skilled in managing employee engagement, building trusting relationships, compensation, coaching, change management, employee development, performance management and employee relations. Job responsibilities include:
Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes necessary to mitigate risk
Drives education and adoption of changes within the business to include structure, policy, and process
Develops, plans and measures implementation of changes to processes, policies, job roles, and technology
Leads HR Projects such as retention initiatives
Provides proactive employee relations, manager coaching, and partners with assigned managers to create a culture that supports business growth and alignment
Collaborates with the Centers of Expertise (COEs) and all elements of the HR delivery model to ensure the delivery of world class HR services and programs
Responsible for and/or serves as a HR liaison for the following areas: succession planning, talent management, employee engagement and development, employee relations, compensation, D&I, performance management, and training
Partners with assigned managers and direct reports to identify top talent and succession candidates and provides support to their development action planning
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related disciple
Must have minimum 8 years of progressive HR related work experience
Exceptional employee relations experience
Exceptional business acumen experience
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Demonstrated project management and change management skills
Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of responsibilities
Analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to manage through ambiguity
Defense Industry experience
Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
