Description:
The Director & General Manager, Flavor Enhancers for Mizkan America is responsible for managing and growing the Vinegar & Bitters portfolio (Private Label, Branded, and Angostura), while enhancing equity and delivering attractive financials for the brands.

Compensation Range: $171,000-232,000.00

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and shape a highly-effective, world-class Marketing team
- Serve as a passionate steward, advocate and gatekeeper for the products and the equities they have built
- Craft long term growth strategy and roadmap for the Flavor Enhancers portfolio
- While building brand equity, drive increased sales and profits for the portfolio
- P&L ownership for Flavor Enhancers portfolio
- Create and activate an integrated Marketing plan designed to grow this business, and contribute significantly to Mizkan, financially
- Work closely with Innovation and R&D leadership to develop and qualify new products, based on what will resonate most convincingly with consumers and retailers
- Work closely with Mizkan's agencies to bring strategy to life with compelling, brand-building and usage-driving advertising and other forms of communication
- Develop regional/local media plans, and work closely with agencies to deploy media strategically
- Working closely with Sales, Connected Commerce, and cross functionally, help guide development of an annual consumer and trade promotion plan
- Guide consumer Research and Insights efforts for private label and branded portfolio
- Responsible for ongoing packaging development and optimization, across the full line of vinegar products
- Manage a best-in-class portfolio of external agencies, suppliers and consultants
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Foundation in world class Marketing and Brand Development from any number of major CPG Food & Beverage companies, along with smaller company experience
- Expertise in Positioning, Communications, Innovation & NPD, Research & Insights, Consumer & Trade Promotion, Digital Marketing, Omni Channel Marketing, Forecasting & Budget, Packaging, Pricing, etc.
- Skilled and savvy across the Digital landscape inclusive of Digital and Retail media.
- Proven experience developing new products from an "end to end" perspective (e.g., concept to activation). Experience should include line extensions, upgrades, flankers, and ideally, new-to-world brand development
- P&L ownership and management experience
- Proven experience developing and motivating direct reports
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred
Compensation Range: $171,000-232,000.00
