The VP Client Services - Medical Education plays a crucial role as a steward of the brand and strategy, entrusted with the responsibility of creating and nurturing robust client connections. In this position, you must regularly demonstrate value to existing clients with strategic thinking and new ideas. In this role, VPs are responsible for driving the annual brand and tactical planning process (both internally and externally with clients). They must ensure strong collaboration with creative teams to deliver optimal output and flawless execution across client business and foster a positive working environment and culture for the internal team. VPs are expected to continually expand the scope of work with current clients to drive business growth. Additionally, the VP Client Services has the opportunity to mentor and train junior account staff. Individuals in this position have significant influence over the company's growth and the development of our employees.

What You'll Do
    • Strategic Advisor and Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as HCP promo lead as we build a new partnership with an emerging biotech company
    • Proactively offer guidance and identify opportunities to drive our client's business as they prepare for launch
    • Work in partnership with client and internal agency team to develop brand goals/objectives/strategies/timing and rollout for launch
    • Understand products, competitors, prescribers, market dynamics, and changes likely to affect the category.
    • Ensure adherence to and alignment of agency/client process
    • Ensure that all communications and deliverables support the brand strategy and overall business objectives
    • Internal Team Lead:
    • Manage and mentor junior account team members
    • Run internal kick-off meetings and provide strategic oversight
    • Review jobs supporting new strategies or special tactics
    • Manage and drive internal deliverables
    • Financial Management:
    • Develop and track SOW budgets and finances
    • Development/management of annual SOWs, monthly financials, tracking of monthly hours, and monthly client accruals


Requirements
    • 7+ years of pharmaceutical agency experience
    • Medical Education required
    • Supervisory experience and mentoring abilities
    • Extensive experience in successfully leading product launches, including experience with accelerated approvals
    • Excellent ability to manage client relationships, especially sensitive issues, and effectively problem solve
    • Self-reliant, capable of operating independently
    • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-changing environment
    • Outstanding communication skills: oral, written, and interpersonal
    • Experience managing large, complex, multi-million-dollar accounts
    • Experience utilizing Veeva and/ or Ziflow platforms
    • Proficient in financial account management with a focus on invoicing and reporting.
    • Experience hiring, managing, and developing a team who are responsible for the day-to-day execution of client programs; Must thrive on building highly effective teams; possess strong people management skills
