We are looking for a highly driven Sr. Tax Manager, reporting directly to the Vice President of Tax, to ensure the company's tax documents are prepared and filed in a timely manner and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
To be successful as a Sr. Tax Manager, you should be able to manage multiple projects efficiently and possess the following skill set.

The expected salary for this position is $150,000 - $170,000. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately file federal, foreign, state, local tax returns, estimates, and extensions in a timely manner per the Income Tax calendar and Annual Reports calendar.
- Accurately file miscellaneous state business tax reports in a timely manner.
- Coordinate the gathering of data necessary to ensure proper filing of tax documents from multiple sources.
- Lead Tax staff and review tax returns.
- Mentor Tax staff and review their performance.
- Assist in tax provision preparation quarterly.
- Identify tax problems and develop solutions.
- Complete responses and schedules for income tax notices and sales tax requests.
- Monitor developments in tax legislation and inform management and staff of developments in tax legislation.
- Implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
- Coordinate tax audits and special tax-related projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or taxation. (Master's degree preferred.)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License preferred.
- Proven experience as a manager in public or private role with 7+ years of overall tax experience.
- The ability to work with taxation software (Onesource Suites).
- Extensive knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
- Solid knowledge about U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Sound problem-solving skills.
