As an Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing a wide range of engineering projects. You will work closely with our team to identify and solve complex engineering problems, and to develop innovative solutions that meet our customers' needs.

Duties based on role, team, and experience may include:

-Design, develop, and test engineering projects
-Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement
-Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design plans, specifications, and reports
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex engineering problems
-Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in engineering technologies and techniques
-Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve design quality
-Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues, including identifying and fixing defects
-Develop and maintain test plans and procedures to validate engineering designs
-Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure smooth transition of designs to production

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree or related work experience in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, etc.)
-Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills
-US citizenship is required for most roles and the ability to gain an US security clearance.

Desired skills

-Experience in project management tools
-Experience with engineering software
-Certification in specific engineering discipline

Colorado Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $55,300 - $106,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
