Position Summary
As the Director of Business Development for TransTech Group's Services Division, you will play a pivotal role in establishing, managing, and optimizing the Division's sales channel, with a focus on industrial services and specialized mechanical and cryogenic services in the industrial and energy sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business development, a strong understanding of the energy and industrial markets, and a proven track record of supporting an industry-leading customer base.
This role requires collaboration with portfolio partners' sales, marketing, and project management teams, a strategic mindset for market penetration, and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with both existing and prospective clients.

- Provides end-to-end industrial and energy services, including mechanical services, maintenance, repair, retrofitting, and facility operation support.
- Specializes in cryogenic services, industrial gas solutions, liquefied gas storage & handling, biogas to energy, and field service capabilities tailored to customer needs.

This role requires collaboration with portfolio partners' sales, marketing, and project management teams, a strategic mindset for market penetration, and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscapes in the air separation, industrial gas, industrial process, and energy sectors to drive growth.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for lead generation, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships through regular engagement and tailored solutions, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams across TransTech Group's portfolio to ensure seamless project delivery and alignment with customer expectations.
- Represent the company at industry events to enhance visibility and build connections with key decision-makers.
- Monitor and report on business development activities, market trends, and sales pipeline progress while identifying areas for improvement.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM or equivalent platforms for effective sales tracking and reporting.
Competencies
- Demonstrated success in business development and sales within the energy, air separation, industrial gas, or cryogenic gas sectors, with expertise in industrial mechanical and construction services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical services and cryogenic gas applications, combined with a deep understanding of market dynamics in energy and industrial sectors.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to negotiate, communicate, and present complex solutions to senior executives and technical teams effectively.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the capability to identify market trends, evaluate growth opportunities, and execute data-driven decisions.
Competencies
- BS/BA in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Travel Requirements
- Flexibility to travel up to 50%
