SAIC is seeking incumbent personnel to continue supporting the Seaport NSWC CR IR/RF Systems Technologies (WXR) contract.
This work supports engineering support services to the Spectrum Warfare Systems Department IR/RF Systems Technologies Division for research and development for pyrotechnic and countermeasure devices. They not only design and develop new countermeasures, aerosol generators and conventional pyrotechnic devices; they also design improvements to existing countermeasure devices and systems to meet the ever changing needs of the Warfighter. The Division supports or will support the self-protection of aircraft, vessels, and vehicles along with survivability of those platforms. Support includes but is not limited to aircraft mounted sensors or detectors, dispensers, Infrared Technology, lasers and electronic warfare applications research and development.

- Engineering Technicians III, IV, and V (non-Ordnance)
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Education and years of experience will vary based on position and customer requirements
- Related experience in pyrotechnic and countermeasures highly valued
- Must be able to complete and pass an initial and continued random Urinalyses and DOT non-CDL Physical, as required for any "Ordnance" positions iaw the Explosives Safety Program Technical Designated Position (TDP) requirements
- Must have a current Active Secret Clearance
