Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
The Senior Physician provides direct medical care as well as direction and consultation to Cabarrus Health Alliance Health Center regarding adult primary care, pediatrics, women's health, family planning, and communicable disease services.
Primary Responsibilities:
Education/Experience: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited medical school. Board certification within Family Medicine. At-least 5 years of clinical experience outside of residency, and preferably 1-2 years of administrative experience and comfort with quality improvement.
License: License to practice medicine in North Carolina

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform physical exams, order and interpret appropriate lab tests, prescribe medications, and other treatments for patients seen in Cabarrus Health Alliance clinics and programs
- Maintain patient records and other required documentation
- Assist in developing new programs or service delivery, when appropriate
- May supervise/precept Advance Practice Providers, residents, interns, and or PA/NP students, as needed
- Provide assistance to Medical/Clinical Director as well as Health Director when establishing overall direction and strategic initiatives for clinical programming as requested
- Help coordinate quality outcome reporting to clinical and executive leadership
- Help strategize quality improvement initiatives within clinical services
