TheMilitary Fixed Wing (MFW) Project Engineering team has an immediate opening fora Lead Project Engineer supporting the ITEC F124 & F125/TFE1042 family ofturbofan engines. The team is in need of a strong Project Engineer to supportF124/F125 engine production, Repair & Overhaul, and supplier transitions insupport of on-time deliveries to our customers.
To meet the needs of the marketplace in theface of stiff competition, the team must rapidly develop new engines to be thebest in the marketplace through execution of world class project management. The successful candidate will lead across-functional engineering team to support major engine systems to be best-inmarket under strict schedule constraints.

Key Responsibilities
- Leaddesign and development activity of the engine system through all aspects of theHoneywell IPDS process on schedule, on budget and in compliance with alltechnical requirements.
- Key aspects include requirements validation andverification, resolution of key technical challenges, acquisition of hardware,management of fabrication cost and execution of qualification tasks.
- Broadindirect span of control of approximately 5-10 full time equivalent engineerswith peak execution periods of >15+. Cost account manager forassigned scope, including Earned Value Management System reporting. Annualbudgetary responsibility approximately $5M-$8M or more.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Expectedto serve as a leader for the product lines' production and R&O
- Knowledgeto support engine line production, drawing changes, Build of Material (BOM)updates and other support related activities.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Due to US export control laws, must be a US Citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 10 years directly related engineering experience in the design, development, manufacture, and/or test of gas turbine engines or similarly complex mechanical systems
