Senior Accountant

Our Monmouth County Client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.

Responsibilities:

• This autonomous role will be expected to create and analyze financial reports, ensure legal compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments
• The role will ensure all accounting transactions comply with the law and support Alliance Health System's investments
• To thrive in this role, the right candidate will be expected to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Record day-to-day financial transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
• Budgeting
• Manage tax invoices and payments
• Conduct cost and revenue analyses
• Collect data, maintain records, and create reports and forecast statements
• Manage projects and ensure timelines and budgets are being adhered to
• Be able to assess and address risk

Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven Accounting and Finance experience
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (or related field)
• NetSuite ERP experience
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial software
• Knowledge of financial accounting regulations
• Ability to work in a team environment, but able to manage projects with minimal guidance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• CPA or CPA track
• Implementation experience
• Healthcare Experience

Compensation: $100,000-$115,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
