POSITION SUMMARY:

The Finance Manager's primary responsibility is to secure the business transactions to purchase new or used automobiles, trucks, and vans, and leased vehicles in accordance with dealership policies, and state & federal law.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Produce additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance programs to new and used car customers.
  • Give professional presentation explaining products offered to every customer.
  • Handle all financing questions.
  • Explain all state, federal, and legal documents.
  • Obtain stipulation and document explanations from customers on any credit issues.
  • Ensure all paperwork on both finance and cash deals are accurate and documents are filled out accurately and signed by the appropriate party.
  • Ensures high ethical standards. Enforces only legal and ethical selling techniques. Treat members of the public in a courteous and don-discriminatory manner. Maintain a professional demeanor while on the job.
  • Conforms to the dealership's sexual harassment/non-discrimination policies and the other policies in the dealership handbook. Reports any violation of the sexual harassment/nondiscrimination to management.
  • Conforms to all customer confidential information policies and laws.
  • Obtain stipulation and document explanations from customers on any credit issues.
  • Recruit sales staff based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
  • Computes and quotes sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, any discounts and requirements for financing payment of vehicle on credit.
  • Establish and manage good lender relations.
  • Communicate effectively interdepartmentally.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly, review and analyze objectives and achievements of goals.
  • Manage customer satisfaction.
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
