Description:
We are seeking a Project Surveyor to join our team! Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, quality assurance/quality control and completion of survey projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and implementation of projects and monitors the operational effectiveness throughout.
Serves as subject matter expert for survey related activities such as construction staking, topographic surveying, platting, legal description writing, boundary analysis, exhibit preparation, and legal principles.
Works with the Project Manager to define project tasks, schedule and resource requirements.
Works with Project Manager to evaluate project budget, scope, and fee.
Complies with and helps the enforcement of company standards, policies, and procedures.
Conduct team meetings with project team to evaluate and coordinate the project.
Stays current on service-specific trends, technology, software, hardware, and equipment.
Provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring to project team staff as needed.
Responsible for quality control and quality assurance related to the survey activities on each project.
Ensures division, regional, and company policies and practices are consistently followed within the survey service.
Lead by example - display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism.
Requirements
Professional Survey License with multi-state licensure preferred.
Four-year degree preferred and/or 10-plus years of experience in a consulting business.
Effective verbal and written communication is necessary and independent judgment is essential.
Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
Handle multiple priorities and projects well.
