The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the warehousing operations at five (5) distribution centers across the east coast, including Boston, MA, Northern Virginia, Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, and Orlando, FL. Day to day activities at each center are handled by a local Warehouse Manager, who reports directly to the Operations Manager.
The primary responsibilities include ensuring the efficient, safe, and productive warehousing operations by enforcing compliance with company standards and managing the company's warehouse personnel and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong and proven background in warehouse management, supply chain operations, and team leadership. The candidate would have outstanding communication skills, the ability to multitask, self-reliance, and excellent time management skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
You're A Great Fit If You Have:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field; 5+ Years of experience in warehouse/operations management.
Systems: Epicor P21, Fleetio, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and Salesforce.
Travel Requirements: Approximately 20-25% travel but may vary depending upon the tasks at hand
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds

What You'll Be Doing:
- Managing day-to-day operations across all 5 warehouse locations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company standards
- Developing and implementing operational policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline processes and improve performance
- Overseeing inventory management, quality control, and supply chain logistics for all warehouses
- Managing budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to meet strategic goals
- Leading, motivating, and supporting warehouse teams, providing career development plans and resolving issues efficiently
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet overall company goals and objectives
- Ensuring compliance with legal regulations, health and safety guidelines, and industry standards
- Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
You're A Great Fit If You Have:
- Proven experience and track record of managing multiple warehouse locations
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in operations management software and inventory control systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrable ability to communicate at all levels of an organization and deliver safety-focused solutions.
- A background in the quartz/natural stone slab industry is a big plus
