Description:
The Director of Fitness' primary responsibilities will be to support the company's operations, production, sales and service for fitness, including fee and free-based offerings. The Director of Fitness will role-model the organization's values and culture.
Oversee all programming for 1-on-1 personal trainers.
Assist all personal training staff with program design and implementation of programming with training clients.
Focus on and execute Gold's Gym fitness strategy through program design.
Oversee all innovation around program design apps and digital programming content
Ensure consistency across all Gold's Gym personal training staff.
Lead the innovation of Gold's Gym 1-on-1 training programs.
Implement and execute Gold's Gym fitness strategy through 1-on-1 personal training.
Create educational content and training materials that will be used to further develop and train all Gold's Gym team members in the realm of 1-on-1 coaching.
Partner with field leaders to identify underperforming clubs and help create strategies to achieve fitness revenue goals.
Partner with field leader to assess, design and implement fitness strategies and operating tools.
Assist in improving skills of sales, personal training and management team members.
Provide feedback on offerings associated with customer/client retention.
Equip field leaders to increase personal trainer full-time staff, active clients, sessions serviced and total training revenue.
Equip field leaders to hire Gold's Gym Coaches that deliver a best-in-class experience.
Ensure field leader awareness of outlier clubs and assist in developing a plan to respond or disseminate.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Experience working in the fitness industry
Experience as a personal trainer preferred
Minimum 1 year of multi-site management experience
Current personal training certification from an approved accredited institution preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skill
