As a AEM Full Stack Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our AEM platform, with a strong emphasis on Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS). You will be responsible for full-stack development within the AEM ecosystem, ensuring both front-end and back-end components are seamlessly integrated and optimized. Your primary focus will be on implementing and configuring AEM solutions, integrating AEM with various internal systems, and ensuring the platform's scalability, performance, and security. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in training and upskilling peers to build a fully functional support operation for the AEM platform by establishing a Center of Excellence (CoE) model.

In addition to your AEM responsibilities, you will support the Marketing Technology team in delivering innovative solutions and business-critical applications using a variety of technologies. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, working with a range of technologies to meet the evolving needs of the team, and assisting in the evaluation and selection of new tools to enhance the team's capabilities.

We'll trust you to:
  • Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and workflows to support business requirements.
  • Implement and configure AEM solutions, with a strong emphasis on Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Integrate AEM with various internal and third-party systems using Node.js.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of AEM with user interfaces.
  • Optimize AEM performance through effective caching strategies, load balancing, and other best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM and associated integrations.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest AEM and cloud service trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.
  • Document technical specifications, system configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Perform full-stack development tasks within the AEM ecosystem, including both front-end and back-end development.
  • Train and upskill peers to build a fully functional support operation for the AEM platform by establishing a Center of Excellence (CoE) model, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuous improvement of the team's capabilities.
  • Support the Marketing Technology team in delivering innovative solutions and business-critical applications.
  • Work with a variety of technologies as needed to meet the evolving needs of the Marketing Technology team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools to enhance the capabilities of the Marketing Technology team.


You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Proven experience with AEM 6.x and a strong emphasis on Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js for building and maintaining internal integrations.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Preferential experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, API Management, and Azure Key Vault.
  • Proficiency in OSGi for modular application development within AEM.
  • Experience with Apache Maven for project management and build automation.
  • Familiarity with version control, with a strong preference to GitLab.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks, with specific experience in Angular.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager Sites Developer certification.
  • Experience with other Adobe Marketing Cloud products.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience working in financial institutions, with a bonus towards those who have worked in Asset Management firms.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Seismic, Adobe Workfront and/or Adobe Marketo.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target, particularly in relation to interoperability between these platforms.
  • Experience with additional programming languages and frameworks relevant to marketing technology solutions.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $140,000-$160,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant's years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management's compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
