Description:
The Business Analyst position involves analysis, tracking and recommendations involving domain name trending for the PIR channel. This includes analyzing actuals vs. budget vs. previous year, forecasting, competitive analysis and strategies, development and tracking of channel promotions including financial model and business cases, market trends. This position will report into the Director, Market Intelligence and Business Analysis, as part of the Business Affairs / Channel "revenue generation" team and also interact and collaborate closely with various PIR teams - Finance, Data Analytics, Operations, Finance, NetBeacon Institute.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and monitor Channel Development Programs (CDP) and Channel Wide Programs
Development of financial model and business case
On-going tracking and monitoring, including compliance
Channel / Registrar analysis of trends for new registrations, renewals, discounts and rebates
Performance
Pricing
Marketing activities
In depth reporting for Business Affairs Team - by registrar, by region, by promotions
Work with Data Analytics Team to enhance registrar reporting, providing value add to their growth strategies
Competitive analysis of TLD Registries pricing, domain name, marketing and promotion strategies

Position works under direct supervision from the Director, Market Intelligence and Business Analysis.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
BA/BS degree or equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years' experience market / competitive analysis experience.
Experience in using data analytics to drive business decisions.
Experience marketing promotions and supporting business cases.
High Level of proficiency with Tableau, Sharepoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Salesforce.
Knowledge of the domain industry is a plus.
Knowledge of international markets is a plus.
Knowledge of emerging online digital technology (i.e. AI) is a plus.
