Senior Program Manager - CCC7

Core Job Purpose

The Senior Program Manager, reports to the Director, Information Management and Technology (IM/IT) and is accountable for the overall digital programs, product roadmaps, project management framework and project governance and implementation of approved, corporate digital projects and supporting the ongoing evolution of CCCs digital strategy and roadmap. The role supports CCC's digital transformation and the leadership team in meeting our digital strategic goals and roadmap and objectives as well as planning new objectives regularly.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the ongoing successful implementation and maintenance of CCC's digital programs, like ERP and CRM
  • Accountable for the successful implementation of corporate digital projects according to annual objectives and milestones.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to perform data collection, planning, analysis, decision making and reporting in support of existing digital projects, as well as long range planning for the digital roadmap.
  • Supports governance of digital projects through ongoing oversight on project performance, communicating progress, risks, taking early action to resolve problems, and timely escalations to senior level stakeholders.
  • Develops detailed project plans to articulate time, budget, resources, scope and risks in large, complex, and multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Manages project team members and subject matter experts assigned to the project as well as external vendor relationships.
  • Manages team members who are in analyst roles supporting CCC's digital programs, such as CRM, ERP, Data.
  • Collaborates and facilitates requirements gathering within a multi-disciplinary team environment, including executives, managers, clinicians, business teams, technical stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Analyzes financial/statistical reports on a regular basis; monitors, analyzes and reconciles variances from approved plan; takes remedial action to attain budgeted targets.
  • Handles complex problems and provides highly innovative and creative solutions that will achieve quality and work process improvements.
  • Manages formal project procurement process and works with key stakeholders and vendors in evaluating and implementing technologies and services. Included in the process, will be involved in contract negotiations and vendor management.
  • Plays crucial role in supporting the Digital Strategy and roadmap and making ongoing modifications to it as projects are delivered
  • Utilizes change management and facilitation skills, and navigating ambiguity, the focus is to lead and find clarity for the team and Corporation.
  • Leads and supports implementation efforts, while delegating and directing project tasks to team-members and deals with any performance issues as they relate to projects.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or related work experience; master's degree in Business Administration or a related field is an asset.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is required and Change Management Certification is an asset.
  • Minimum of 15 years of project management experience. Specifically managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and multi million dollar budgets is required.
  • Proven experience in leading and executing large-scale digital transformation projects and complex technical implementations for multi-million-dollar projects is essential.
  • English essential. Bilingualism in both official languages is strongly recommended.
  • Strong budget management, presentation, writing, and/or training skills.
  • Anticipates and analyzes risks and issues, explores alternatives, develops appropriate recommendations with project teams and presents issues to senior leadership.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects, prioritize multiple conflicting priorities.
