You will be a key member of the Halo Studios IT Enginee ri ng team, responsible for studio data and IT services and infrastructure within our studio. You will be cont ri buting to the architecture and de sign of new on-prem and cloud infrastructure, while continuing to d ri ve optimization, performance, secu ri ty, and reliability with cutting edge technologies and automation. You will empower artists, de velopers, and others in our studio by proactively de signing technical solutions to maximize their efficiency. Along the way, you will be a trusted voice who shares your knowledge and exp ert ise within our team and other teams in the studio. You will be joining a fast-paced team that constantly provi de s new opportunities to learn and grow. Roles at our studio are flexible, and you can work from home up to two days a week in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and optimize c ri tical hyb ri d and cloud-based IT infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Co de ( IaC ) technologies (e.g., Docker, Terraform, AKS) to ensure high availability, scalability, secu ri ty, and operational efficiency.
- De sign and implement Azure Networking solutions including Site-to-Site tunnels, App Gateway, P ri vate Endpoints/P ri vate Link, DNS, and network secu ri ty for Azure resources , ensu ri ng secure and reliable connectivity.
- Lead the de sign and implementation of data governance , storage , backup, and disaster recovery solutions for a multi-Petabyte Azure-based environment, ensu ri ng data integ ri ty, secu ri ty , and performance .
- Research, evaluate, and integrate emerging tools and methodologies into the technology roadmap, to continuously optimiz e efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Architect and de liver automation solutions to improve service health, manageability, reliability, telemetry, and alerting, with a focus on resiliency and operational improvements.
- Produce and maintain clear and accurate technical documentation and de sign specifications that align with best practices.
- Collaborate with software engineers, project management, and operations teams to improve and optimize infrastructure and evolve services, ensu ri ng alignment with organizational goals.
- De monstrate agility and responsibility by participating in on-call rotations, owning c ri tical issues, communicating effectively to diverse stakeh ol d e rs , and ensu ri ng rapid resolution and knowledge transfer with an emphasis on learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years technical exp e ri ence in software enginee ri ng, network enginee ri ng, or systems administration
- OR Bachelor's De gree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical exp e ri ence in software enginee ri ng, network enginee ri ng, or systems administration
- OR Master's De gree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical exp e ri ence in software enginee ri ng, network enginee ri ng, or systems administration.
- 5+ years of exp e ri ence managing technical services/infrastructur e including 2+ years of exp e ri ence building cloud data solutions.
- 5+ years of exp e ri ence creating and maintaining IT sc ri pting (PowerShell, Python, Bash or similar languages) for the purposes of supporting de ployment, orchestration, or automation.
- 3+ years of exp e ri ence building, de ploying, and managing containe ri zed applications and infrastructure via co de with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps, Azure Container Instances, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Azure Bicep, etc.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government secu ri ty screening requirements is required for this role. These requirements inclu de , but are not limited to, the following specialized secu ri ty screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Exp e ri ence with troubleshooting and de signing solutions with core infrastructure technologies including on-prem and/or Azure networking, cloud technologies, Active Directory / Entra ID
- Exp e ri ence with Azure data technologies such as blob storage, Azure file shares, Elastic SANs, Data Lake, Azure NetApp
- 3+ years of e xp e ri ence with Linux System Administration
- Exp e ri ence with Entra ID authentication (oauth2, OIDC, SAML) for Azure Resources and App Registrations
