Position Overview

The Talent Specialist designs, develops, and implements talent initiatives that align with Casa Bonita's mission, values, and business goals. Reporting to the VP of People and Talent Strategy, this role focuses on creating and executing programs to drive organizational learning, leadership development, career mobility, and talent pathways across the organization. This position plays a key role in ensuring Casa Bonita employees have the tools, resources, and opportunities to thrive and grow, contributing to a positive, high-performance culture.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and oversee training programs for new managers.
  • Create career mobility pathways and processes to support hourly employees aspiring to leadership roles.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and develop strategies for high-potential employees.
  • Design, facilitate, and implement workshops, training sessions, and other development initiatives to enhance skills and competencies at all levels.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align learning and development programs with Casa Bonita's cultural and engagement strategies.
  • Ensure organizational learning programs address the evolving needs of employees and the business.
  • Develop and monitor metrics to assess the success of learning initiatives and make data-driven improvements.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in talent development to continuously enhance programs and approaches.
  • Promote diversity and representation in leadership pipelines by designing inclusive learning, development, and mobility strategies.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years experience in talent development, learning and development, or organizational development, preferably within a hospitality organization or similar industry.
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering leadership and career development programs.
  • Experience with talent management and learning systems is preferred.
  • Strong facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong working relationships.

Salary, Benefits, and Compensation
  • The Salary range for this position is between $77,000 and $87,000 per year.
  • Casa Bonita also offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance.

Pay Range: $77,000 - $87,000 per hour
