Welcome to Solaris ! Asthe Director of Nursing, you'll have the pleasure of directing anddeveloping our wonderful Nursing Department to maintain quality standards ofcare in accordance with current Federal, State and Solaris HealthCarestandards, guidelines, and regulations. In absence of the Administrator, you'llassume the responsibility. We need a driven individual that is capable ofproblem solving, delegating tasks, and communicating in a timely and effectivemanner. The Director of Nursing will also act as a liaison between theresidents and staff to ensure a safe, cheerful, and healthy environment forall. If this sounds like you, we'd love to meet you! Education
MUST BE Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Must have and maintain CPR Certification
Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred
At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required
Previous Director of Nursing or Assistant Director ofNursing a Plus!
