The Plant Controller is a key member of the plant leadership team, accountable for providing visibility on site financial performances and ensuring actions to improve financial results are timely executed and prioritized.
She/He's leading all financial cycles (monthly closing, outlook and Budgeting) and is the first and recognized primary contact on all kinds of financial matters for the site.
With the Plant embarking on a transformation journey, including expansion thanks to business growth, she/he's accountable for tracking the Company's investments are properly executed, driving returns according to the projects commitments.
Leading project controlling with focus on cost and timing alignment with multiple milestones will be a key accountability for the incumbent.
Additional responsibilities include enforcement of ARXADA Internal Controls, partnership with Supply Chain in managing Slow Moving & Off Grade Inventory and championing all plant productivity projects.
Responsibility:
Direct plant accounting functions and assures compliance with corporate
accounting policies and IFRS, interfacing with internal and external auditors as
needed.
Single Point of Contact for Projects cost controlling: prepares Steer Co reviews
and drives alignment on execution status and next steps among the multiple
stakeholders involved (including Operations and Business Unit leadership).
Analyzes financial reports, evaluates plant performance and spending. Provide
site financial and statistical reports (CAPEX, cost effective analysis)
Advises leadership and relative business teams on accounting, financial,
budgeting, asset management, management information, business
forecasting, capital projects and profit improvement opportunities
Coordinates the preparation of the plants annual operating expense budget
Coordinates the annual standard cost updates for the sector, including
analyzing cost updates within product lines
Oversee and ensure accurate product costing and support "new" product
costing
requirements:
Strong financial acumen, able to quantify the impact of the site leadership actions on Site
Operational expenses and Capital assets.
Team Player, able to prioritize financial performances among the key accountabilities of the site
leadership team
Sharp communicator, able to present Site investment execution status to the senior
management, including IO Senior VP and BU President Combining Strong analytical skills with
the ability to summarize findings in few, synthetic sentences
SAP Experience a must.
