Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Sr. Manager of Retail Operations to join our Finance team in Marietta, GA. The Sr. Manager of Retail Operations will be responsible for profitability and asset growth of retail lending programs (i.e., Installment and Revolving programs). They will oversee all sales planning, dealer marketing, consumer marketing, event marketing, product development, product management, pricing, and dealer development activities in support of originations for Yamaha product sales. They will coordinate growth strategies with National Sales Manager, Product Group Sr. Managers, YMFC-US Senior Leaders, and Yamaha Financial Services Group Managers.

What you'll be doing:
- Achieve retail finance sales objectives including application volume, $ origination volume, and retail finance penetration %. Develop and lead execution of annual sales plan and budgets.
- Create marketing strategies spanning dealer (indirect), consumer (direct) and event marketing channels. Ensure marketing plans are coordinated with internal/external Product Group business partners.
- Design and manage retail finance promotions to attain targeted penetration rates, profitability, and asset growth.
- Establish reporting and measurement system and processes to track competitive activity and benchmark Yamaha retail pricing, promotions, distribution, and product features - relative to OEM and third-party competitors. Communicate findings to YMFUS and YMUS business partners.
- Oversee management of Dealer Support operations sales and servicing channels.
- Manage relationships with Product Group business partners.
- Lead planning/budgeting activities for programs, marketing, and dealer development sales activities.
- Develop and maintain strong dealer relationships via sales planning team and analytics group.
- Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reporting to identify emerging variances in dealers' sales volume, suspicious activity incidences, credit loss performance, dealer satisfaction, and customer experience.
- Lead and oversee development of action plans to resolve variances.
- Regularly communicate status of dealer network through monthly & quarterly communications to YMFC-US leadership team and product group senior leadership.
- Meet regularly with National Sales Manager and other Senior Managers within YMFC-US and other product partners to stay aligned with company direction and goals.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Bachelors' degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field is preferred. Master's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
- 7+ years Powersports, marine, Automotive industry experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Experience pricing, profitability and pricing dynamics is a must
- Direct-to-consumer marketing experience is preferred
- Proficient computing skills - e.g./ MS Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and WorkBached.
- Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be a hands-on, results-oriented leader with a proven track record for building and managing a successful team. Must be detail oriented, customer focused and capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Must be collaborative leader with ability to effectively guide and influence those within and outside organization. Must be flexible to change and must be able to lead effectively through stressful conditions (e.g., peak seasonality, escalated disgruntled customer calls, managing workload through competing priorities)
- Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or maintaining a positive workplace culture
- Must possess the skills and confidence in handling escalated situations and comfortable presenting to groups
- Must be able to travel for overnight trips. On average, total travel will be approximately 35%, however during peak travel seasons, it may be as much as 50%
- On occasion, must be able to travel on weekends and/or participate in weekend industry events (e.g. conferences, boat shows, dealership open house, corporate sales meetings.)
