What you'll do
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • System Support: Provide daily support to end users in navigating the Smart Factory System, particularly in production, material handling, shipping, receiving, and kanban replenishment functions.
    • IDH Maintenance/Set-up: Maintain IDH information in SAP and SFS, including new item set-up and BOM information. Maintain appropriate settings in SFS.
    • Training & Development: Conduct training sessions and create documentation to ensure all staff are proficient in using the system, addressing any knowledge gaps or issues that arise.
    • SAP GUI Integration: Troubleshoot and support integration between SAP GUI and the Smart Factory System, ensuring seamless data exchange and workflow continuity.
    • Process Improvement: Analyze system use and production workflows, identifying potential improvements and enhancements for smoother operations.
    • Incident Management: Resolve any software issues or user errors encountered by employees, escalating more complex technical issues to the IT or development team as needed.
    • Collaboration with IT: Act as a liaison between plant employees and the IT department, facilitating communication and understanding of technical issues related to the Smart Factory System and ERP functionality.
    • Data Accuracy & Reporting: Ensure all data entered into the system is accurate and up to date, while generating and analyzing reports to support operational efficiency.
    • System Upgrades & Testing: Participate in system testing for upgrades or new features, providing feedback on usability and functionality from the end-user perspective.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Technical Expertise:
      • Strong knowledge of SAP GUI and ERP systems functionality.
      • Proficient in database systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system errors or performance issues.
    • Analytical Skills:
      • Ability to analyze system-related production data, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements.
    • Communication Skills:
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees at all levels and provide clear instructions and guidance.
    • Problem-Solving Abilities:
      • Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to resolving issues and ensuring smooth operational workflows.
    • Familiarity with Manufacturing Processes:
    • Understanding of production procedures, material handling, kanban replenishment, and shipping/receiving processes.

The salary for this role is $70,000.00- $100,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
