(Chicago/Hybrid) The Senior Manager, Web/SEO Marketing & Acquisition position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational aspects of fundraising messaging and the overarching brand positioning of IFCJ's website by working with various internal stakeholders to manage the process of updating content, managing website design elements, monitoring performance, implementing SEO strategies, and ensuring the site is user-friendly; essentially acting as the primary point of contact for all website related initiatives. This position is based out of our headquarters located in downtown Chicago.
We are seeking an individual with Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 6 years of experience of enhancing a website's online visibility, boosting search engine rankings and driving organic search traffic. Minimum of 4 years of experience managing and coaching a team to success.

Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
Management and Leadership:
- Manage a team of internal web and SEO associates and external strategic partner(s) that are responsible for executing the day-to-day online fundraising and donor acquisition and retention efforts that drive visitors to IFCJ's website by managing overarching content, creative, user experience, and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies and initiatives both organically as well as visitors generated from direct response marketing campaigns.
Cross Departmental Collaboration:
- Collaborate and work with Editorial, Marketing, Content, and Web Development teams to optimize website content and structure for SEO. Strategically test website donation and landing pages for conversion optimization.
Implementation:
- Ensure effective implementation of strategies that will increase The Fellowship's visibility online, leading to increased outreach and fundraising.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze website traffic, user behavior and conversion rates to assess the effectiveness of SEO strategies and make data-driven recommendations from various analytical tracking and reporting tools such as GA4, Power BI and others as available and needed.
Technical Skills & Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of marketing channels, tools and best practices.
- Extensive knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to plan and implement marketing campaigns.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with HTML and web design.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Strong knowledge of and experience with Google Analytics.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills with the ability to make sound recommendations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
