As a SrTechnical Validator on the Analysis, Mechanical Design, Technical Validation & Standards Team,you will be a key contributor to technical validation activities within the Aerospace Engineering and Technology, ControlSystems (CS) Organization.
In this role, you will supporttechnical validation activities for engines, power systems and mechanicalcontrols systems for Aero and UAM aircrafts. Your responsibilities will includethe review of drawings for manufacturability, dimensional accuracy, andadherence to industry and internal standards; verify geometric dimensioning andtolerancing to ensure proper fit at next-level assembly; and review 3D modelintegrity to ensure accurate translation to CAD and CAM tools. You willact as a technical lead for less experienced engineers supporting you. You willalso lead continuous improvement efforts including knowledge capture, designstandards, tools and process improvements.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Demonstrated experience in product development.
- Demonstrated experience of industry standards.
- 6+ years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in Aerospace or related industries.
- Significant experience in drawing detailing and drawing changes for new and legacy programs.
- Expert in GD&T and ASME Y14 Series.
- Significant experience with Honeywell Aerospace mechanical drawing requirements and industry drawing standards.
- Familiarized with tolerance stack-up analysis (axial and radial).
- Proficiency in CAD tools, NX preferred.
- Experience with PLM tools, Teamcenter preferred.
- Knowledge of unique manufacturing and design requirements for aerospace applications.
- Capability to work with self-direction, take initiative, exercise sound judgment, discretion, and capable of complex decision making in a dynamic work environment.
- Proven ability to present and effectively communicate technical details to varying audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to modify work schedule to satisfy challenging customer demands and compressed project schedules.
- Proven ability mentoring others.
