Description:

The Senior Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations within the pharmaceutical industry. This role involves managing procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Procurement Management: Oversee the purchasing of raw materials, components, and finished products, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimize waste, and reduce costs.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate with the Logistic team the transportation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors and ensuring performance standards are met.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, including disruptions, shortages, and compliance issues.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze supply chain performance metrics, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with industry regulations Additional Responsibilities:
  • Financial Oversight: Contribute to budgets and financial performance related to supply chain activities.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation in supply chain processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness


Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Proven leadership, team spirit, and excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong priority management and analytical skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
  • Proficient in SAP ECC and comfortable using systems such as Excel, Tableau, and BW.
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written; This person will be required to work with suppliers and/or clients located outside the province of Quebec
