Job Description
This role seeks individuals who can serve as strategic advisors, ensuring the smooth operation and security of complex, large-scale DoD networks. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional technical expertise and the ability to implement solutions that align with organizational goals and support mission-critical operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct shift reviews to ensure services are operational, resolve anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and document processes. Mentor junior team members on new procedures.
  • Ensure smooth operations of multi-user environments by implementing STIGs, EIPs, industry best practices, and DoD-aligned security measures.
  • Address customer issues, update ticket statuses, and document resolutions.
  • Plan and implement network security to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Assess network upgrade requests and provide technical guidance.
  • Offer 24x7 on-call support during outages with progress updates.


Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 4+ years' experience (or equivalent experience).
  • IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE).
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance, eligible for CI Poly.
  • Layer 3 networking experience.
  • troubleshooting experience with L3 connections
  • How to find a workstation on the network
  • Familiarity with OSI model and ASAs
  • Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting IT systems.
  • Proficiency in at least five (5):
    • Cisco configuration
    • BGP/OSPF
    • TCPDUMP/Wireshark
    • S2S/DMVPN/IPSEC troubleshooting
    • LAN/WAN troubleshooting
    • Firewall basics
    • ISE/TACACs basics
    • AWS Cloud services
    • VLANs and trunking
    • Spanning Tree Protocol
    • 802.1x

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DISA and its mission support.
  • TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly preferred.

Work Hours: Full-Time, On-site

Shift 1: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Shift 2: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
