Role Description: Network Engineer. Routing (Cisco OSPF, BGP, iWAN), Switching (Cisco Nexus, and Stack switches), Wireless (Cisco WLC), Firewall (Cisco ASA/FP, Checkpoint & Palo Alto, VPN, Zscaler), SD WAN, Cisco ACI, Prime, ISE, DNAC, Azure Networking.9+ Years- Responsible for Designing and providing WAN/LAN network administration, enterprise wireless, cloud administration (AZURE), SD WAN administration and Cisco/Palo Alto firewall administration.- Troubleshooting the Level 3 and advanced network issues and performing call backs ensuring issues are resolved & appropriate solution is provided to the customer.- Initiate improvements in tools (SolarWinds, Panorama, Prime, Cisco DNA, Infoblox) requirements gathering and processes.- Responsible for investigating causes, tests solutions & suggest solutions in place to reduce the time taken to resolve the network related tickets.- Make recommendations based on analytics to improve performance and optimization of network infrastructure.- Manage new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.- Understanding Network support priorities and objectives and taking an active role in accomplishing them.- Help level 1/2 resources to address the Network related issues.- Strong understanding of network routing and switching protocols required.- Demonstrated experience with WAN and backbone network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.) required.- Experience with next generation firewall technology (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, etc.) desirable.- Experience with cloud (AWS, Azure, GC) networks and/or security desirable.- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.- Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.- Ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities.
