ECS is seeking a Cyber Engineer to work in our Remote office.
The Opportunity:
Are you looking to help the Department of Defense (DoD) identify emerging technologies that might help develop the future joint force and our nation's civilian workforce? As an experienced professional, you know that innovative technologies offer a range of applications that may influence future military and civilian capabilities. We are looking for someone like you to help a Defense client identify early-stage research with the potential to accelerate innovative solutions to complex DoD challenges. The Cyber Engineer shall be responsible for engineering, implementing, and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
The Cyber Engineer shall have, at a minimum, 5 years of experience in the following:
Managing the overall maintenance of an organization's IT security systems and protocols.
The implementation of security measures for hardware, software, and network platforms to ensure protection from cyber-attacks and any other possible harmful intrusions that could compromise or damage an organization's data and network infrastructure.
Providing security for cloud-based digital platforms and playing an integral role in protecting an organization's data.
Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000
General Description of Benefits
Bachelor's in engineering, computer science, or equivalent with 5+ yrs experience or AA with 7+ yrs experience:
3 years operating in the Federal cyber security domain spanning governance and risk management, business continuity and disaster recovery, encryption, software development security, access control, network security / secure architecture, and security operations
3 years experience reviewing and/or configuring AWS Organizations, CloudFormation, and/or Terraform Infrastructure as Code
3 years of infrastructure and network security experience
3 years experience administering and/or configuring Kubernetes
3 years implementing NIST RMF and writing security control responses across all control families
3 years delivering Federal cybersecurity reporting and compliance requirements
3 years evaluating system security posture from the application level to underlying infrastructure
