We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manufacturing Site leader to lead & scale our growing Houston manufacturing site. As a key leader in our high-growth company, the Manufacturing Site Leader will be responsible for driving scale, ensuring operational accuracy, and delivering custom solutions that meet customer needs. This role will also oversee the development and implementation of new manufacturing capabilities, such as metal fabrication and integrated system enclosures, and flexible assembly & test cells to expand the plant's portfolio and operational capacity. The Site Manufacturing Leader will foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, employee engagement, and operational excellence to support our company's rapid growth and customer-centric values.

In this role you will get to:
- Champion a culture of safety excellence, prioritizing the well-being of all employees, visitors, and contractors. Implement and enforce safety protocols and continuously improve safety practices.
- Drive a commitment to uncompromising product quality & align manufacturing operations with customer expectations by supporting, maintaining & improving a robust quality assurance/control process, ensuring adherence to industry standards that deliver high-quality, customized solutions on-time.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to scale production capacity by integrating new processes, technologies, and equipment to meet evolving business and customer needs.
- Utilize effective project management methodologies to support new product/production launches, ensuring timely execution, efficient resource utilization, and alignment with operational goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally by working with sales, product management, engineering, quality, & supply chain teams to support customize solutions and align operations with business goals.
- Develop, utilize, track and report key performance metrics to ensure operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Key focus on safety, customer performance metrics, scalability and accuracy that are required in high growth manufacturing environment.
- Cultivate a high-performance manufacturing team. Coach & develop staff through individual development plans that ensure succession planning for all levels of the plant. Increase the level of technical knowledge of core business processes to develop key talent & improve manufacturing process performance.
- Leverage our ERP manufacturing execution system to its full potential to ensure seamless and efficient transactional data management throughout the order fulfillment process.
- Drive lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and eliminate waste driving a culture of continuous improvement across the site.
- Manage facility operations and maintenance by implementing a preventive maintenance program, addressing immediate infrastructure and equipment issues, ensuring safety and compliance, and preparing the facility for adding additional product & system production builds from other sites or customer projects.
- Manage financial performance by developing and controlling the plant's budget, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI for scaling initiatives.
Job Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in plant management or equivalent senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving results in safety, quality, delivery, with ability to scale manufacturing operations in a high growth environment.
- Effective change agent thru communication, coaching & raising the bar to drive high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, process improvement methodologies & continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Engineering, or Business Administration (MBA), or related field.
- Proven experience in a Merger & Acquisition environment leading manufacturing & supply chain integrations while working collaboratively & cross functionally across the business.
- Demonstrated success in leading operational expansions, such as scaling production lines, launching new products or transitioning to multi-site operations.
- PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar certifications related to project management or process improvement.
