Overseeing all aspects of the facilities maintenance and operational functions, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and executing preventative maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating repairs to maintain a quality learning environment that is safe, clean and functional, while optimizing efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree related to building operations management and operations, construction management, engineering, architecture or business administration preferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of the basic principles of construction, school plant maintenance, custodial operations and ground maintenance.
Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire safety.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in computer-based maintenance management systems.
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
Ability to manage budget and personnel.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Ability to interpret data.
Experience:
Five years' experience in maintenance operations.
Pay Grade: AP PG 8 / 12 Months
