ECS is seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer to work remotely.
The Opportunity:
Are you looking to help the Department of Defense (DoD) identify emerging technologies that might help develop the future joint force and our nation's civilian workforce? As an experienced professional, you know that innovative technologies offer a range of applications that may influence future military and civilian capabilities. We are looking for someone like you to help a Defense client identify early-stage research with the potential to accelerate innovative solutions to complex DoD challenges. The Senior Mainframe Developer shall be responsible for systems development, testing and implementation in a mainframe environment.
The Senior Mainframe Developer shall have, at a minimum, 5 years of experience in the following:
An environment similar to ATRRS in terms of size and complexity.
Z/OS application development. Internet application development experience a plus.
IBM COBOL, DB2 (including stored procedures), CICS Transaction Server, and use of Z/OS operating system.
Programming new system modules in both CICS Transaction Server and batch, running in a Z/OS environment that can be added to ongoing operational systems without any interruption of service to users.
Independently solving program malfunctions in a Z/OS environment.
Debugging programs and job streams being tested in various hardware/operating system environments.
Executive software environments and hardware configurations and models.
Using DB2 Connect and integrating with web-based applications.
Salary Range: $99,000 - $150,000

General Description of Benefits

- BS in Computer Science or related field of study
- US Citizen or Green card holder and must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
